Haggs Bank Campsite

Want to come camping in Cumbria and explore England’s Last Wilderness? Want to get away from it all sleeping under stars that will take your breath away?

Haggs Bank Campsite has 2 special areas each offering a unique camping experience. In our small woodland area we can even offer trees for hammock tents! Whilst our main campsite sits in part of a 4.5 acre wildflower meadow with terraced pitches to enhance the views across the valley.

We aim to take bookings by email, via our contact form or telephone – and try to always have space available for un-announced arrivals – the availability checker is for bunkhouse bookings only.

Cars are only allowed on the track up to the pitches to drop off and collect equipment, after setting up, cars are parked in the available bays across the road. Helping us to keep it a safer area for children to play and explore in. The car park also has electric hook-ups for motorhomes and caravans and an Elsan disposal point (for eco-friendly chemicals).

The showers and toilets are attached to the bunkhouse and included in the price.

Well behaved dogs are welcome on the campsite at no extra charge, providing they are kept on a lead at all times. Please clean up after your dog immediately on all areas of the site. Fire pits and disposable BBQ’s are restricted on site as we don’t want our green pitches damaged for other users. Please enquire on arrival.
